Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering or Physics.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following areas: RF antennas, RF communications, or RF collection.
  • Experience or at least familiarity with electrically small antennas (ESAs), time varying and active antennas and processing and communications protocols.
  • Three years’ experience in a work role as a SETA, program manager or technical lead for projects substantially involving RF antennas, RF communications or RF collection.
  • Substantially contributing authorship (considered to be first, second or last author) on two peer-reviewed journal publications or one internally archived (not necessarily shareable) technical documents substantially involving RF antennas, RF communications or RF collection.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD preferred.
  • Five years’ experience in a work role as a SETA in classic RF antennas lead for projects substantially involving RF antennas, RF communications or RF collection.
  • Substantially contributing authorship (considered to be first, second or last author) on four peer reviewed journal publications or two internally archived and shareable technical documents substantially involving ESAs or time varying antennas.
  • At least three years of experience working under a TS/SCI or equivalent clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting research on quantitative antenna limits for performance.
  • Applying expertise in RF antennas, RF communications, or RF collection.
  • Working with electrically small antennas (ESAs), time varying and active antennas, and processing and communications protocols.
  • Serving as SETA, program manager, or technical lead for projects involving RF antennas, RF communications, or RF collection.
  • Contributing authorship to peer-reviewed journal publications or technical documents.
