About The Position

The Scientist, Quality -Training supports personnel qualification and training activities within the Quality Team as part of an End-to-End (E2E) Laboratory Modernization Program. This role is responsible for coordinating training programs, maintaining training records, and ensuring personnel competency requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related scientific discipline. OR Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant quality or laboratory experience.
  • Relevant quality-related laboratory experience commensurate with level (entry-level candidates through experienced scientists will be considered).
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a regulated laboratory environment.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of managing tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively deliver training and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Knowledge of competency assessment and qualification programs.
  • Excellent documentation and recordkeeping practices.
  • Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing and coordinating training programs.
  • Experience maintaining training records and competency systems.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and electronic documentation systems.
  • Experience supporting ISO 17025, GLP, GMP, or FDA-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate laboratory training programs and maintain training records.
  • Support onboarding and qualification activities for laboratory personnel.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain training materials and competency assessments.
  • Monitor training compliance and ensure qualification requirements are maintained.
  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to support personnel development.
  • Provide guidance on documentation practices and quality system requirements.
  • Support audits and inspection readiness activities related to personnel training.
  • Identify opportunities to improve training processes and knowledge management.
  • Maintain training and compliance in health, safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
