About The Position

The R&D Scientist is responsible for experimental set-up, execution, and data analysis. This role involves handling reagent preparation, including human blood and sterile body fluids, and preparing buffers, solutions, and samples for testing. The scientist will ensure project results are effectively documented and compliant with quality assurance and design control procedures, provide protocols and procedures for the project team, write reports, and offer technical assistance. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related scientific field, Microbiology or Biology preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Fields of Knowledge: Microbiology preferred, Biology, Clinical Microbiology, or Medical Technology
  • Experience with antibiotic susceptibility testing and interpretation of manual and reference methods preferred.
  • Practical experience in assay or test product laboratory setup, aseptic technique, and basic microbiology technique.
