Scientist III - Potency Assay - FSP
About The Position
Parexel FSP is seeking a full-time Scientist III - Potency Assay to work onsite at one of their clients in Rahway, NJ. This role involves supporting routine testing for release, stability studies, in-process, and/or cell-line development. The position requires monitoring controlled temperature units, completing sample submission and management, and maintaining accurate documentation. Parexel FSP's CMC Operations group provides qualified technical professionals to support pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies in the development and delivery of new therapies. They focus on scientists and engineers in discovery and development, prioritizing patients and fostering an inclusive community.
Requirements
- Current cellular and/or molecular biology and immunoassay experience
- Analysis of biologics including monoclonal antibodies and/or other therapeutic proteins in one or more of the following techniques: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), host cell proteins (HCP), protein-A proA), and binding potency assay
- Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and basic molecular biology techniques (gel electrophoresis, etc.)
- High-throughput liquid handling system, e.g., Tecan, Bravo, etc.
- Analytical software including Softmax Pro, Empower, and ChemStation
- Experience with BSL2 (Biosafety Level 2)
- Sample submission & sample management
