Requirements

BS or MS degree in Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field and 7+ years of experience or Ph.D and some relevant experience.
Knowledgeable in chromatography and filtration theory, downstream development strategy, and process scale-up/transfer
Experience with chromatography operations, including operating AKTA systems
Experience with filtration operation, including executing bench-scale dead-end filtration, viral filtration, UF/DF, and depth filtration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Dive deep into purification process development, always looking for ways to improve and innovate.
Lead development of purification processes for biotherapeutics manufacturing
Perform small and pilot scale purification processes for biotherapeutics manufacturing
Transfer processes to clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities
Technology development to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of purification processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new possibilities and solutions.
Regularly share your findings, ideas, and solutions in both team settings and presentations.
Ensure that curiosity-driven questions and exploration lead to measurable, impactful results.
