About The Position

As a Scientist I at ICON Plc, you will conduct scientific research and experiments to support innovation in drug development and clinical research. You will deliver scientific operations work to a high standard while working closely with team members and stakeholders. The role includes analyzing scientific data, contributing to research protocols, documenting findings, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company standard operating procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, and project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory operating principles.
• Proficiency in bioanalytical techniques, which may include academic experience.
• Hands-on experience with ELISA techniques.
• Ability to validate assays effectively.
• Skill in data interpretation and analysis.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and experiments to advance drug development and clinical research.
• Analyze and interpret scientific data, using statistical tools and methodologies to support accurate, reliable conclusions and recommendations.
• Contribute to research protocol development in accordance with industry guidelines and ethical standards, and seek ways to improve study design and research processes.
• Prepare reports, scientific papers, and presentations to communicate findings internally and externally.
• Maintain accurate experiment records and data integrity throughout the research lifecycle.
• Follow regulatory requirements and company standard operating procedures, and contribute to high quality standards.
• Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and project managers, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve team goals.
