About The Position

As part of our dedicated team in Research & Development, you will initiate, direct and execute pre-clinical scientific research and/or development strategies in research and/or development. You will investigate the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions, products and problems. You will maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories. You may be required to participate in the development of patent applications.

Requirements

Advanced degree in quantitative analytical chemistry, biochemistry, enzymology, or immunoassay technology, or a related field.
Relevant scientific experience conducting controlled experiments in a regulated manufacturing facility.
Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to draw conclusions, determine strategies and make decisions based on data.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the development of In Vitro Diagnostic assays.
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Familiarity with ISO regulations.
