The Scientist, Assistant will be expected to lead research projects related to skeletal tissue and Orthopaedics with minimal supervision. They will design experiments and execute them, harvest data and perform their analyses as well as write draft manuscripts and participate in review and grant writing when appropriate. The Scientist Assistant is expected to attend laboratory as well as group meetings and participate in the general laboratory tasks and activities and maintain good citizenship. Under minimal supervision, the Assistant Academic Research Scientist performs a wide range of highly technical and complex tasks necessary to advance basic and/or translational research programs.
