Scientist 2 (LC/CE)

Fujifilm•Research Triangle Park, NC

About The Position

The Scientist 2 in the Analytical Development Lab develops, optimizes, and transfers analytical methods for characterization and release testing of protein-based therapeutics. Methods include capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS and icIEF), U/HPLC, and standard physicochemical techniques such as IEX, RP, SEC, affinity, and HIC. The position supports method qualification, transfer, validation, and process development, and serves as a technical expert in CE, U/HPLC, or Empower custom fields. The role involves designing, executing, and interpreting analytical studies; analyzing complex datasets and communicating scientifically sound conclusions; and authoring technical documentation, including protocols, reports, and laboratory records. The Scientist collaborates across Analytical Development, Process Development, Manufacturing, and Quality, and may lead or contribute to analytical workstreams across multiple projects. The position also develops and maintains Empower reports, processing methods, and custom fields.
