About The Position

Join a leading Infection Prevention team as a Scientist 1 in Analytical Chemistry Development. In this hands-on laboratory-based role, you will support and remediate chemistry-related projects for both marketed and new BD products. Contribute to stability testing, analytical method development, and validation to ensure compliance and quality in a dynamic, FDA-regulated environment.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Chemistry or Pharmaceutics with relevant scientific background.
• 2-4 years’ hands-on experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry.
• Proficient in wet-chemistry and instrumental analysis techniques.
• Solid scientific writing abilities for protocols and technical reports.
• Experience in FDA-regulated and GMP-compliant laboratory settings.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced protocol/report writing experience.
• Prior exposure to cross-functional project collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine chemistry testing for raw materials, in-process, and finished products using wet-chemistry and instrumental methods (pH, titration, UV-Vis, GC, HPLC).
• Support the design and execution of stability testing to validate product and process changes.
• Generate and review protocols, reports, and data entries with high scientific accuracy.
• Troubleshoot laboratory issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and documentation in compliance with GMP and FDA standards.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to discuss scientific strategies and results.
