About The Position

Global Solutions Network (GSN), a federal government contracting firm, is seeking a Scientific Training Analyst for a long-term position supporting GSN's customer at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This full-time position requires 40 hours per week and offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

Minimum of a B.A. or B.S. degree
BS required; PhD preferred
Biomedical workforce experience required
Able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing
Knowledge of relevant NIH policies and award terms and conditions
Strong organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail
Extremely reliable and adaptable with strong time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities with minimum supervision
Demonstrates good judgment, particularly when managing confidential information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to be professional, clear, and accurate both verbally and in writing
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

Understanding of NIH, its organization, and culture preferred
Knowledge of NIH organizational travel (CGE) and personnel (FPS) systems is highly desired

Responsibilities

Planning, developing, and delivering educational programs in collaboration with OITE staff, including curriculum design, speaker coordination, and event execution
Supporting major OITE events (e.g., poster days, workshops, symposia)
Preparing reports, analyzing participation data, and compiling feedback upon request
Maintaining trainee and staff records
Executing IRTA appointment and maintenance actions in the Fellow Personnel System (FPS)
Coordinating with Administrative Officers to obtain required approvals
Providing travel and logistical support, including GovTrip coordination and documentation
