About The Position

Culmen International is seeking a Scientific Editor to support our work with the Defense Health Agency in Silver Spring, MD. The Scientific Editor ensures the quality, accuracy, consistency, and publication readiness of scientific and technical products supporting PHCoE research and dissemination efforts.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a health-related field preferred.
• Experience editing scientific and technical publications.
• Familiarity with APA and biomedical publication standards.
• Public Trust clearance; contract requires US Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Edit scientific reports, manuscripts, and evidence briefs.
• Review products for technical accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with publication and style standards.
• Coordinate peer review and publication processes.
• Support development of scientific communication materials.
• Edited manuscripts

• Publication-ready journal articles
