About The Position
Tutor Doctor of North Jersey is seeking dynamic and experienced physics and chemistry tutors to provide in-home tutoring services to high school and college students in Ridgewood and the surrounding areas. As a physics and chemistry tutor, you'll work one-on-one with students to help them excel in challenging science courses.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of physics and chemistry concepts.
- Minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in physics, chemistry, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Must be willing and able to commute within a 10-15 mile radius of Ridgewood, NJ.
- A genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Tailoring lessons to each student's unique learning style and needs.
- Conveniently scheduling sessions and tutoring students in their homes in the Ridgewood and surrounding areas.
- Monitoring student progress and submitting session reports.
