Science Teacher (Anticipated)
About The Position
The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for an anticipated .50 Earth Science Teacher at Mount Nittany Middle School and a .50 Virtual Academy Science Teacher for the District. The Virtual Academy aspect of the position is completed in person, in State College, PA. The ability to establish relationships with students and collaborate with colleagues is critical to success in this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and recognize that equity and inclusivity are foundational to ensuring every student has opportunities to grow, thrive, and fulfill their potential through caring, responsive education. The District seeks dynamic, energetic educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of middle school learners.
