About The Position
Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovative Science Teacher to fulfill a vacancy in the district. This is a Middle School Science teaching position.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Science endorsement (DI)
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to speak and write effectively
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Responsibilities
- Teaching written and oral coursework
- Tailoring lesson plans to individual students or classes
- Setting homework and assessments
- Effective communication with staff, families, and students
