About The Position

Science Teacher, Greeley Central High School (2026-2027 School Year) Classification: Exempt Date Posted : March 23, 2026 Contract Length/ Days: (2026-2027/ 188 Days) Salary: Salary placement on our Certified Salary schedule is dependent on the employees' education and/or work experience. Certified/licensed employees will be granted one (1) year for each full year of contractual and/or work experience up to a maximum of ten (10) years, which includes in-district and out-of-district contractual teaching and/or work experience. Responsibility for verification of outside experience shall rest with the individual employee. Summary/Objective: Provide an enriched atmosphere where students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible members of society. Facilitate learning and guide students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation. Responsible to the building principal and department director where assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Colorado Teaching License
• Must be able to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students
• Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students
• Maintains a discipline and classroom control that fosters a safe and positive environment for all student and staff in accordance with school and county policies
• Ensures adequate supervision to assure health, welfare, and safety of all students
