About The Position

United Charter High Schools (UCHS) is seeking a Science Teacher who deeply believes in students and their own continued growth. This role involves planning and delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will use data to inform instruction, build structured, joyful, and academically demanding classrooms, and cultivate authentic relationships with students and families. UCHS is a high-performing network of seven public charter high schools serving approximately 2,000 students across the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, committed to ensuring all students graduate prepared for college, career, and a 21st-century economy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • NYS teaching certification (or working toward certification)
