Science Teacher (6th Grade)
About The Position
The Connecticut River Academy is seeking a full-time 6th Grade Science Teacher for the 26-27 school year. This is a position within the Middle Grades Program at a Sustainability Studies/Early College magnet school operated by Goodwin University. The ideal candidate will be able to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. The Middle Grades Program serves students in grades six through eight, focusing on academic and social-emotional success as they transition through the school system. The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with students from urban and suburban settings, and an understanding and appreciation for multicultural education.
Requirements
- Appropriate CSDE certification or evidence of eligibility
- Excellent interpersonal skills
