About The Position

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons in accordance with state curriculum standards. Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of assessments. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Work collaboratively with partner postsecondary institution to provide College Credit Plus opportunities for students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science field or related area.
• Teaching certification or licensure in a science subject area.
• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Proficiency in various assessment and evaluation methods.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with postsecondary institutions or College Credit Plus programs is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a science field or education.
• Experience with online learning platforms and technologies.
• Familiarity with state curriculum standards for science education.
