In this role, you will create engaging and rigorous learning experiences that support students with diverse learning needs while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and a strong foundation in high school science. As a Science Instructor, you will design and implement purposeful lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and instructional goals, utilizing differentiated strategies and varied assessment methods to support all learners. You will cultivate a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, intellectual engagement, and active participation while effectively managing classroom procedures and student behavior. Collaboration is an essential component of this position, as you will work closely with guidance staff, special education personnel, and support service educators to ensure accommodations and individualized supports are successfully implemented. In addition to classroom instruction, this role requires a commitment to professional growth, reflective teaching practices, and ongoing communication with students and families.
