About The Position

The Science Camp Supervisor will lead a staff team in the delivery of quality, hands-on, fun and entertaining science experiences for children (aged 4-14) across Northeastern Ontario from mid-June to late August. The supervisor will coordinate all program requirements, ensure the physical and emotional safety of all camp participants, work with a diverse group of children, communicate with parents, supervise and support a staff team and resolve program challenges.

Requirements

• Excellent supervisory skills
• Outstanding communication abilities
• Demonstrated experience working with children
• A passion for learning
• Fluency in both English and French
• Willingness to travel
• Prepared to submit a current (less than 3 months old at date of submission) Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check
• A valid driver’s license reflecting a 3 year safe driving record
• Current First Aid certification
• Willingness to work full-time over the period of mid-June to end of August
