About The Position

DS Bus Lines Inc. is seeking a responsible and safety-focused Mini-van Driver to join their student transportation team. In this role, you will operate a company-provided Mini-Van to transport students safely and reliably to and from school, programs, and related activities. This position requires a valid standard driver’s license and a commitment to ensuring student safety, professionalism, and punctuality. Requirements

Valid standard driver’s license
Must meet all DMV and DOT requirements
Clean driving record and strong attendance history
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in all interactions

Responsibilities

Safely operate a mini-van in compliance with federal transportation regulations
Transport students to and from school, field trips, and other approved destinations
Ensure the safety and well-being of all student passengers during boarding, transit, and exiting
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe vehicle environment
Follow assigned routes and schedules with reliability and punctuality
Communicate effectively with dispatch, school staff, parents (as needed), and supervisors
Complete required documentation such as mileage logs and incident reports
Remain alert, attentive, and compassionate while supervising students on board
