About The Position

Local Motion is seeking a Part-Time School Van Driver in Braintree, MA. This role is ideal for individuals who value purpose and community service over a traditional 9-to-5 job. As a School Van Driver, you will play a vital role in safely transporting students to and from school and events, making a real impact in your local community.

Requirements

School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
Safe driving record
Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical
Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

Safely transport students to and from school and events
May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
Drive assigned routes
Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies
