School Van Driver
About The Position
Tri County Transportation Inc. is seeking a School Van Driver to operate a van on a set route, morning and afternoon, transporting students to and from school. Responsibilities include conducting pre-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle meets DOT requirements, performing post-route vehicle checks, and safely managing student behavior. This part-time position typically involves about 22.5 hours per week across morning and afternoon routes, with core routes running Monday to Friday during school hours. Summer work and optional field trip, sports, and activity runs are available at a separate activity rate. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a predictable part-time schedule during school hours, supplemental income, work-life balance, or flexible employment opportunities.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- To be 18 or older
- To be dependable about time and comfortable managing students
- To pass an MVR, background check, clearances, a DOT physical and a drug screening

- No CDL and no previous experience required. Paid training.
