About The Position

This position supervises work connected with the cleaning and maintenance of school buildings, a large swimming pool, and surrounding grounds and walkways. The role also involves performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

2 years of general janitorial or related custodial work experience demonstrating knowledge of on-the-job safety techniques and methods, proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and supplies, and the ability to work effectively with others.
3 months of specialized experience in the cleaning and maintenance of a large swimming pool, demonstrating knowledge of operating small water pumping systems and equipment, filtering, sanitizing, and purifying swimming pools, and minor repair and maintenance of small water pumps.
2 years and 3 months of supervisory experience.
Demonstrated evidence of supervisory aptitude, which can be shown through successful completion of assignments with supervisory responsibilities, details to supervisory positions, completion of supervisory training courses with application of skills, or favorable performance appraisals indicating supervisory potential.
