About The Position

This position will serve at an East Omaha school. Make a real impact on students’ lives by supporting their behavioral and academic success. As a School Support Specialist, you’ll work directly with students, families, and school staff to address behavioral challenges, improve attendance, and connect families to essential resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum age of 18 required

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with special needs or behavioral support in school settings

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative intervention for students with behavioral or attendance issues
• De-escalate inappropriate behaviors using approved intervention techniques
• Partner with school staff, students, and families to support student success
• Refer families to community and Boys Town resources as needed
• Track student progress and maintain case files and data
