About The Position

In This Role, You Will serve as a highly reliable, go-to team member who keeps priorities organized and work moving forward. You will support the Chief of Schools and broader team by managing day-to-day operations, coordinating academic initiatives, overseeing testing and key programs, and ensuring clear communication across stakeholders. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and flexible—ready to jump in wherever needed to solve problems, follow through on priorities, and help ensure a smooth, high-functioning school environment.

Requirements

  • A deep belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to academic excellence.
  • High School degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting academic leadership, curriculum coordination, or school operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Active participation in a Christian church.
  • Alignment with the mission, values, and Statement of Beliefs of St. Augustine Preparatory Academy.
  • Lastly and most importantly, the candidate must demonstrate and possess the highest integrity and live out the values, beliefs, and culture of Aug Prep.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Chief of Schools, including scheduling, meeting preparation, note-taking, and follow-up
  • Organize and maintain electronic files, documents, and tracking systems
  • Coordinate and prioritize tasks to support school-wide initiatives and daily operations
  • Anticipate needs, problem-solve proactively, and ensure strong follow-through on action items
  • Support the coordination and execution of academic initiatives and instructional priorities across K–12
  • Assist with logistics for professional development sessions and leadership meetings
  • Help maintain alignment across schools through strong organization and follow-through
  • Contribute to systems that support student achievement and a positive school culture
  • Serve as Testing Coordinator, managing logistics for all state and internal assessments (scheduling, materials, compliance, and execution)
  • Coordinate key school programs and services to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Monitor program effectiveness and make real-time adjustments to address challenges
  • Ensure programs meet school expectations, timelines, and operational standards
  • Coordinate academic events such as parent-teacher conferences and school showcases
  • Support clear, consistent communication across staff, students, and families
  • Serve as a reliable point of coordination between teams to keep work moving forward
  • Step in as needed to solve problems and support both behind-the-scenes work and day-to-day school needs
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Serve with humility, flexibility, and a team-first mindset—recognizing that no task is outside the scope of strengthening the school.
  • Actively contribute to a culture rooted in faith, collaboration, and high expectations.
