About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking School Social Workers to support high-risk students and families during the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves providing social-emotional support and evidence-based interventions to promote student well-being and academic success. The School Social Worker will manage a mild-to-moderate special education caseload, support behavioral and therapeutic goals, and partner with students and families to improve attendance and re-engagement. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to foster a trauma-informed and supportive school environment.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
