About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker for a K–12 school setting in Greeley, CO. In this role, you’ll support students’ social-emotional well-being, family engagement, and access to learning by providing counseling, crisis support, and collaboration with school teams. We welcome both new and experienced clinicians! This is a full-time position with K-12 caseload, starting August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
• Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date) or TEE with additional didactic learning in place
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills

Nice To Haves

• School-based experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development
• Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings
• Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families
• Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
• Connect families to community resources and supports
