About The Position
Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking a Certified School Social Worker to join our team in Edison, New Jersey for a full-time, temp opportunity! This is a school-based services position with excellent compensation and exclusive school placement. The role begins ASAP and runs until December 2026.
Requirements
- LCSW or LMSW
- NJ DOE School Certification

- Previous school based experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling and support to students dealing with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' academic and personal needs.
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support at-risk students.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on coping strategies and emotional well-being.
