About The Position

Join Our Team as an Onsite School Social Worker in Holly, MI for the 26/27 School Year! Are you a compassionate, licensed School Social Worker dedicated to supporting students’ mental health and emotional well-being? E-Therapy is hiring! This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) working with 6th - 8th grade students. The role requires an MI Social Worker License and MDE School Social Worker Credential. Compensation starts at $50/hour, commensurate with experience. The position is located in Holly, MI and is onsite only. We are currently seeking a Social Worker with a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) degree to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing social work services to students, families, and school staff, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns to support students' overall well-being and academic success. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent (LMSW with supervision may be acceptable depending on state and district).
• MI Social Worker License and MDE School Social Worker Credential Required
• Experience providing clinical or school-based social work services to children and adolescents.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis response.
• Knowledge of school systems, child development, and evidence-based interventions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including educators, psychologists, and administrators.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic recordkeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of students’ mental health, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral needs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Provide individual and group counseling services focused on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, peer relationships, and family conflict.
• Respond to crises within the school setting, including suicide risk assessments, child abuse reporting, and emergency mental health support.
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans, especially addressing emotional, behavioral, and social goals.
• Serve as a liaison between school personnel, families, and community agencies to coordinate support and access to resources like mental health services, food assistance, or housing.
• Develop and implement school-wide prevention programs and social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives aimed at improving school climate and student well-being.
• Provide consultation to teachers and school staff regarding behavioral strategies, trauma-informed care, and student mental health concerns.
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, interventions, progress, and referrals in accordance with school policies and confidentiality guidelines.
