About The Position

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a School Social Worker for a contract position within a Public School District in Sebring, FL. This role involves providing student support services, focusing on mental health. The position is for the academic year 7/30/2026 - 5/28/2027, requiring 40 hours per week, and serving students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a School Social Worker.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
State License as a Social Worker (if applicable)
Educational/Teacher Certification (if required by state department of education)
Prior experience in a School Based position as a School Social Worker is required

Responsibilities

Evaluate eligibility for special education services and placement as a member of the IEP team as defined by IDEA.
Assess social and emotional development, mental health status, and adaptive behavior relevant to case study evaluations.
Use a holistic approach to assess cultural, environmental, and socio-economic factors.
Determine related service needs (e.g., social work, counseling, consultation) and set goals/objectives aligned with special education eligibility.
Collaborate with school staff on functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
Share assessment findings during IEP meetings and conferences.
Provide individual, group, or evidence-based curriculum instruction as required by the student's IEP.
Deliver direct social work services to students.
