The School Social Worker will provide individual, group, and family treatment consistent with treatment plans and identified therapeutic needs of clients, using up-to-date therapy methods/models. This role involves conducting initial evaluations of clients’ mental health problems, formulating diagnoses and treatment plans, and completing all necessary clinical documentation in a timely manner. The position also requires participation in staff/clinical team meetings, supervision, and case reviews, as well as attending workshops and seminars for continued professional growth. Additionally, the School Social Worker will advocate for clients, ensure their rights are protected, and refer them for additional or alternative services as needed. Entering daily schedules into the computer and complying with agency policies and procedures are also key responsibilities.
