About The Position
Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is seeking a qualified, credentialed School Social Worker for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time position will coordinate and implement the District's social-emotional learning, counseling, physical, and mental health programs. The role is for a 195-day school year calendar, working three days a week (Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday).
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, social work, or related field.
- Pupil Personnel Services Credential with Social Worker Authorization.
- Two or more years of experience in school social work or school counseling, marital and family therapy, and classroom teaching.
- Possess a California Pupil Personnel Services Credential with Social Worker Authorization.
- Copy of credential or letter from university stating anticipated credential type and issuance date.
- Copies of transcripts reflecting degree/major and any postgraduate coursework.
- Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical.
- Satisfactory completion of a drug/alcohol-screening test.
- Satisfactory completion of fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI.
- A current verification of a negative T.B. test or x-ray.
Nice To Haves
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is also preferred.
