About The Position

Windsor Elementary School is seeking a School Secretary for a vacant position. This role involves working 7 hours per day for 217 days per year, with an effective start date of August 24, 2026. The rate of pay is $31.48 per hour, in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement Local 3876. The application closing date is midnight, June 11, 2026. Terms and conditions of employment, including wages, are governed by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Collective Agreement Local 3876.

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized degree or diploma program in office administration.
• Demonstrated caring for and interest in working with students.
• Previous office experience, preferably in a school environment.
• Advanced knowledge of computer applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and databases.
• Experience with EasyConnect, SAP, and School Cash Net software programs.
• Experience with school administrative software programs (PowerSchool).
• Accounting experience and experience with accounting software.
• Knowledge of cash and banking procedures.
• Accurate typing skills and precise filing skills.
• Familiarity with current office procedures and equipment.
• Effective written communication skills.
• Enthusiasm and a pleasant manner.
• Must be able to provide a Criminal Record Check and a completed Child Abuse Registry.
