About The Position

This is a 10-month position for a School Secretary. It requires a high school graduate or GED equivalency, one year of secretarial/clerical experience, and knowledge of school office operations and procedures. All prospective employees must pass a Level 2 background check, including fingerprinting and checks against various criminal and sexual offender registries, as required by Florida State Statute 435.04. Eligibility is determined by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or passed the G.E.D. equivalency examination.
  • One year of secretarial/clerical experience.
  • Knowledge of school office operations and office procedures.
  • Combination of previous education/training/experience which provides for an equivalent background necessary to perform the work.
  • Must submit to and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse for a Level 2 background check.
