This role serves as a liaison between the school, staff, parents, and community, assuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front office. The School Secretary I will also serve as secretary to the principal, composing routine correspondence, preparing and typing communications and meeting minutes, scheduling appointments, and handling mail. Responsibilities include collecting, compiling, organizing, and recording data related to personnel, payroll, and equipment, as well as managing purchase orders, invoices, and accounts payable and receivable. The position requires prompt and regular attendance and involves working with the public, parents, and children in a typical office environment.
