About The Position

We are seeking Registered Nurses to work in a school setting for the extended school year Summer Program. This role involves supporting local school communities with various nursing needs, including bus transportation, 1:1 student support, and general health office duties. Opportunities exist for both short and long-term assignments, with potential to continue into the Fall.

Requirements

• NYS Registered Nursing License
• BLS certification
• Dependability

• Valid NYS RN license

• Ability to physically manage a fast-paced school health office and respond to classroom emergencies
• Understanding of the pediatric population
• Strong sense of basic nursing skills

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on school buses during specified hours.
• Offer 1:1 nursing support for medically fragile students, including riding the bus with the student.
• Manage a fast-paced school health office.

• Share knowledge.
