Position Overview Provide professional nursing care and health support to students in a school setting on an as-needed, per diem basis. Monitor and respond to students’ routine and acute healthcare needs, including pediatric and diabetes-related care. Administer medications and treatments as ordered and maintain accurate, confidential health records. Respond to health emergencies and collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License
- AHCA Level 2 background screening/clearance
- Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Prior experience providing pediatric and pediatric diabetes care
