About The Position
Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time School Psychologist for a school-based position in Springfield, VT for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers a collaborative, well-supported school team environment, designed to make a meaningful impact without feeling isolated or overwhelmed. Unlike traditional school roles, this position provides more support through a dedicated Service Delivery Manager, a collaborative school team, and a structure that supports manageable workloads and professional autonomy. Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid Vermont School Psychologist License (or eligibility)
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment data and write comprehensive evaluation reports
- Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP development
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and school-based problem-solving teams
- Provide consultation on behavioral strategies and classroom supports
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
