About The Position
Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking a School Psychologist to join our team near Carteret, New Jersey, for a temporary elementary school-based placement. This assignment will support a maternity leave coverage from September 1, 2026, through January 29, 2027, with orientation scheduled for August 25–27, 2026. The role involves supporting students in an elementary school setting, with opportunities for statewide and nationwide placements. Growth within the company is available and encouraged.
Requirements
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP)
- NJ school psychologist certification
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify learning and behavioral issues and interpret results to develop intervention plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling, and implement intervention strategies to support students' emotional and behavioral needs.
- Work with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for addressing academic, behavioral, and social issues.
