Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for a potential full-time coverage position beginning in late September 2026 in the Bothell area of Washington. Requirements

Master’s or educational specialist degree in School Psychology
Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate certificate with a School Psychologist endorsement
Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete
Must provide at least two supervisory references
Knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and eligibility requirements
Strong assessment, report-writing, communication, and collaboration skills

Previous school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
Prepare clear and thorough evaluation reports
Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and Individualized Education Program meetings
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
Assist school teams with students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Support the development and implementation of appropriate interventions
Provide consultation regarding special education eligibility, programming, and student supports
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and district requirements
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school-based planning
