About The Position

TheraPeds Partners is a therapist-owned and operated organization that partners with schools to provide School Psychology services to PreK–12 students nationwide. As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Our mission is to deliver high-quality School Psychology services while making meaningful connections in a collaborative learning environment. TheraPeds Partners is seeking a School Psychologist to join a collaborative school team in Troy, Michigan for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, on-site position serves students from PreK through 12th grade and focuses on supporting student success through comprehensive evaluations, consultation, eligibility determination, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
  • State License and/or School Psychologist and Department of Education (when required)
  • Knowledge of Counseling and Psychological Assessment
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance

Nice To Haves

  • NASP License (preferred but not required)
  • 2+ years of experience (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
  • Participating in eligibility determinations and diagnostic decision-making for special education services.
  • Collaborating with educators, families, therapists, and administrators to develop appropriate educational recommendations.
  • Contributing to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while ensuring services align with student needs.
  • Providing consultation to school teams regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports.
  • Delivering student services in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines.
  • Maintaining timely documentation, evaluation reports, and compliance with state and federal special education requirements.
