About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate School Psychologist to join a collaborative K–8 school team, helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year in Alsip, IL. This role involves conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, interpreting assessment data, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support student learning and development.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment data to support student learning, eligibility, and educational planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized interventions and support plans.
- Provide consultation on behavioral, social-emotional, and academic concerns to promote positive student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation, participate in team meetings, and ensure compliance with special education requirements.
