About The Position
SchoolHouse Staffing is hiring a full-time School Psychologist for a district-wide assignment across four schools in the Berwyn, IL area (60402) for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a W-2 position paying $50.00-$75.00 per hour DOE, Monday through Friday, 37.5-40 hours per week. The selected candidate will be employed as a W-2 employee of SchoolHouse Staffing, LLC and assigned to perform services at client school sites under site-level direction and supervision. SchoolHouse Staffing handles payroll, payroll taxes, workers' compensation, benefits administration, and employment documentation.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement, or eligibility to obtain one before the assignment start date
- Master's degree or higher in psychology or educational psychology with a specialization in school psychology
- Ability to pass a background check and meet all district onboarding and health requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility for special education and related services
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families on student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Support Response to Intervention (RTI) / MTSS processes and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, and school administration across assigned buildings
- Comply with all district, state, and IDEA requirements for documentation and timelines
