About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for a full-time leave-coverage position in the Bothell, Washington area. This assignment will run from August 25 through December 4, 2026. We are a women- and therapist-founded company working to elevate the employment experience for school-based professionals. Requirements

Master’s or educational specialist degree in School Psychology
Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate certificate with a School Psychologist endorsement
Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete
Strong assessment, report-writing, communication, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Previous school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
Prepare clear and thorough evaluation reports
Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and Individualized Education Program meetings
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
Assist school teams with students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Support the development and implementation of appropriate interventions
Provide consultation regarding special education eligibility, programming, and student supports
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state, federal, and district requirements
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school-based planning
