About The Position

School Psychologist opening with Wheeling School District Starting August 2026 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. We welcome new clinicians and seasoned professionals alike!

Requirements

• Master’s degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

• School-based experience preferred, not required
• NASP membership a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
• Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs
• Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports
• Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations
