About The Position

The School Psychologist supports K–12 students by conducting psychoeducational evaluations, providing counselling and behavioural interventions, and collaborating with school teams to improve student learning and well-being. Responsibilities include participating in IEP processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines, maintaining thorough documentation, and assisting with crisis intervention. This role requires onsite work with potential limited hybrid flexibility and a licensed South Carolina School Psychologist with strong assessment and consultation skills.

Requirements

  • Valid South Carolina School Psychologist license required
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional school psychologist experience required
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (Ed.S., SSP, or equivalent) required
  • Experience working with diverse K–12 student populations
  • Ability to work onsite full-time or in an approved 3-days onsite / 2-days remote hybrid schedule
  • Strong skills in assessment, data interpretation, consultation, and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K–12 students
  • Provide direct and indirect psychological services including counselling, interventions, and behaviour support
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and emotional development
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and progress monitoring
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and provide consultation on behavioural and academic strategies
  • Work onsite according to the established schedule with potential for limited hybrid flexibility
