School Psychologist
About The Position
EDU-AIDS is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Nogales, AZ 85621 for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday–Friday during school hours. The compensation is $54 - $58 per hour. The role involves conducting psychoeducational evaluations, preparing reports, developing recommendations for student needs, collaborating with various stakeholders, participating in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing consultation on behavioral interventions and mental health supports, maintaining documentation, and promoting evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Active Arizona School Psychologist Certificate or appropriate Arizona credential
- Master's, Specialist (Ed.S./CAGS), Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in School Psychology or a related qualifying field
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of experience in a school-based setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive student assessments
- Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports
- Develop recommendations to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide consultation regarding behavioral interventions and mental health supports
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Promote evidence-based practices that support student learning and well-being
