About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking a passionate School Psychologist to join their team for the 2026–2027 school year in Orland Park, IL. This role focuses on supporting K-2 students by conducting psychological evaluations, collaborating with teams and parents on IEPs and behavioral plans, and providing counseling to foster social-emotional development. The position also involves participation in staff development days and meetings to ensure alignment with district objectives.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience administering cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments for young learners
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations for K–2 students to determine special education eligibility.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social-emotional development.
- Participate in staff institute days and meetings to align services with district goals.
